Preferred Caterer for The Josephina
We ask that all caterings over 100 people be paid one week in advance (not applicable to corporate or social organizations.)
Prices are for a standard buffet which include lines with center pieces, colored coordinated chafing dishes and any necessary equipment.
If you prefer a premium setup there is a $250 charge and it would include everything in the standard package with color coordinated linens to match your event. May include food risers, greenery, props, glass block, chafer risers with covers, and food stands.
*The above may not always come with every buffet. Each menu is different and requires glass blocks, different equipment, racks, etc.
Full Service Charges
Buffet Attendants - $95.00 each
We reserve the right to determine the correct number of attendants to do the job. Usually 2-3. China events require a larger crew
A charge is not added to your bill. We leave it entirely to the host's discretion. Gratuity is graciously accepted.
A delivery fee will be determined by location, day and time (usually $45.00 for local events)
Equipment Return Policy
In the event equipment is left behind for the client's convenience (Hot Boxes, Coffee Urn, Chafers, Linens, Etc), it is the responsibility of the client to return the items to Lother's Catering unless a pre-arranged fee of $35.00 pickup charge has been paid.
Setup is free for orders over 100 people when staff is ordered. Under 100 people is $95.00. This includes buffet linens, skirts, and equipment for your event. At least one attendant is required for for a setup.
The buffet attendant will set up, attend, and break down the buffet line. Generally, a buffet line would be left open for 20 minutes after the last person goes through the line the first time. If extended serving times are required, additional charges will apply.
With delivery service Lother's provides disposable serving utensils for $95. In this scenario, all items delivered will be disposable pans and no chafing dishes will be set up. The client may choose to purchase disposable chafing dishes or use their own oven to continue heating the food once it has been delivered for $10 each.
Catering services are those provided by our professional, uniformed staff who stay on location. This charge is $95.00 per attendant on Monday through Saturday and $125.00 per attendant on Sundays and Holidays. Gratuity is left to your discretion. This charge is based on a minimum four hour period from the time they arrive at Lothers until the time they leave from Lothers. Any time over four hours is considered overtime and is priced $20.00 per hour, per server. We appreciate the right to advise you on the correct number of Attendants.
Leftovers are only provided by request one week before the event. We will provide containers for bulk packaging for $15.00. Seldom do we leave leftovers at corporate events.
Deposit & Payment:
A non-refundable deposit of $300.00 is required to secure date. This will be subtracted from your final bill which is due One Week In Advance. Number of guests should be recorded by this time. This will not only guarantee a date but also the price. A deposit is not applicable for corporate events.
Additional Buffet Lines:
Buffets consist of one or two lines. Additional lines require additional buffet set-ups, larger staff, double the equipment and linens. For these reasons a charge or $100.00 is required for each additional buffet set-up.
All menus are served on heavy duty disposable plates with heavy-weight disposable knives and forks. However, please feel free to up-grade to clear Prestigious Dinnerware (1.00 per person), Masterpiece Dinnerware ($1.50 per person) or china ($2.50 per person plus gratuity). China requires additional staff - $95.00 per staff member. Linen Napkins are $0.60 each.
Linens for Guest's tables - $6.00, Custom Ice Carvings - $325.00 & up, Buffet Tables - $12.00
Rentals - Wine Fountains, Popcorn Machine, Sno-Cone Machine, Table Skirting, Chaffers and Linens.
Lother's Catering reserves the right to change prices without notice. However price is guaranteed at the time of deposit for 6 months.
Venue Catering Fees:
In the event that your venue should have a caterer surcharge, that amount will be passed through to the client.
